The winning goal
I hear the coach yelling, “Go,Go”
As he sees me dribble towards the goal
The ball is at my feet
As I dribble past some defenders
I smell the scent of the short green grass
As I run forward
The crowd goes quiet like
A mouse
The keeper standing like a brick wall
Letting nothing get through
Tension all over my body as
I move toward the ball
I feel the pain on my leg as I’ am taken down
I cry out with pain
I hear the whistle of the referee
As I am picked up by my teammates
I see the red card
And I see the player try protest
I see the my coach as he motions to me to take the free kick
I feel nervous
I feel the green blades of grass
As I move forward
I feel the sweat drops
Rolling down my forehead
I hear the, “swoosh” as the ball goes into the net
the keeper lies on the floor, feeling tired and beat
I hear the chants of the crowd, “goooooooal”
And i see my dad give me the thumbs up
I feel the pats on my back congratulating me
As i make my way to my coach and my dad
I feel The trophy in my hand as I hold it in the air
We have won
